About

My Story and Experience

I left Goldsmith’s University with a 1:1 in Psychology in 2009 after having my dissertation published to work as an academic research assistant on the South London Community health project at Kings College London.

In 2010 I decided I wanted to be a Psychology teacher so I went and studied for my PGCE in Social Sciences at Manchester Metropolitan University where I graduated with a Merit.

After that I got a job as a Psychology Teacher at Steyning Grammar school where I have worked for 15 years and am now the Head of the successful Psychology department. We teach GCSE and A level Psychology and I have contributed to the development of every lesson in both Schemes of work.

In 2019 I became a Psychology examiner for AQA and have been rated as “excellent” in all my examining reviews by AQA since then.

I now continue to teach Psychology at my school and I train other Psychology teachers doing their PGCEs in Psychology Teaching with Sussex University. I am able to use my 15 years of experience to tutor online to help students achieve their target grades and boost their confidence with my online tutoring classes for A level and GCSE Psychology.
